Hypatia Blue and Milldean Buster...
... were both last in the Quarter Finals of the Ladbroke Arc.

I've lost 2 points on each dog - so I am not doing very well in the Arc.

I have put another 2 points win onto Mustang Garcia at 9/2 which I feel could still win this trophy even though it finished 2nd in its heat.

On the graphs that I have made for the semi-finals it still looks like the best dog although Milldean Flash is a fast improving dog that could match Mustang Garcia; luckily they are in different heats!

So my selections are Milldean Flash in heat 1 and Mustang Garcia in heat 2.

Romeo Maldini didn't win...
...but Mustang Garcia did.

And it did it in a fast time which looks promising for the final. But first we have to get through the Quarter and Semi finals..

I bet 2 points on Mustang Garcia at 7/4 which brought me back 3 1/2 points so that pays for that ante post bet. I lost 2 points on Romeo Maldini.

Now for the Quarter Finals on Saturday. I said we would have more information after the last heats and I have done 4 graphs to compare the dogs that are left in the competition.

Unfortunately I am unable to publish the graphs (as is my usual practise) but on analysing them, looking for realistic chances of getting through the Quarter Finals, I have selected two dogs that could qualify at pretty good prices (I have to try to limit my bets so that I end up with a profit!)

I have put 1 point ew on Hypatia Blue 20/1 and Milldean Buster at 10/1 ante post for the final. (1/4 odds four places.)

So with Mustang Garcia I have 3 dogs running for me. I'm tempted to put more on this dog which I bet at 10/1 but the price is now 9/2. I will think about it and perhaps add another two points tomorrow and I might bet some forecasts or doubles also ... I'll see...

Hey, I'm back after couple of months...
...to try my hand at the Ladbrokes. com Arc over 475m at Walthamstowe.

I have had a look through the form of the 48 dogs in the 8 heats looking for at least two dogs to have a bet on. It is a tough call but I have settled on:
Mustang Garcia 2 points win, and 1 point ew, at 10's Ladbrokes odds.
and: Romeo Maldini 1 point ew at 25/1. (1/4 odds a place 1.2.3.4.)

I'm only attempting, at this stage, to pick two dogs to get through the first heat and then we will have more information to see if the qualifiers, 3 from each heat, have better prospects of getting to the final than the two I have picked. If there are dogs that stand out then we will consider whether to add them to the portfolio. The first heats are run Tuesday 12th Feb.
